What is the ISC Masters Swimming Program?
- 'Iolani Swim Club Masters is a registered United States Masters Swimming club in Honolulu, HI. Members must be 18 and older. Swimmers vary in ability from novice to World Championship level.
- Emphasis is on technique improvement and race preparation for swim meets,triathlons, surfing, paddling, open water swims, and other aquatic activities. The program is outstanding for people who want to learn to swim with greater ease and efficiency. We can improve your triathlons, swimming, surfing, paddling, bodysurfing, and more.

Friday 21 (coach out of town)..will send workout for Saturday as a makeup session if needed
Monday 24 Christmas Eve
(Coach will be at the pool with other swimmers that morning, You can swim on your own from 10:30-11:30 if you’d like. I will be busy but you are welcome)
Tuesday 25 Christmas Day (pool closed)
Thursday 27 (coach unavailable but will send workout for Saturday if needed for makeup session)
Monday 31 New Years Eve (you can come in between 8-9 am to swim on your own if you’d like)

January 2-back to normal.
** We will only have 5 lanes from December 2-13 due to college training.

- When I first joined ISCM as a seasonal visitor, I was still getting re-acclimated after a long hiatus from the water. Over the course of six months (and a few thousand yards of swimming), Coach Ivan greatly improved my speed and efficiency in the water, so I signed up as a full-time member. With each week that passed, I gained more confidence in my overall ability as a swimmer. In addition to the weekly work outs, I enjoyed special clinics on diving, flip turns, and stroke technique that helped me target specific technical areas. I like the blend of philosophy and physical execution of the techniques taught at ISCM. Thanks to the encouragement of Coach Ivan and my team members, I am signed up for three events in an upcoming swim meet. Without reservation, I recommend ISCM for new and experienced swimmers who are looking for a wholesome and welcoming environment to train in.

This time, thanks to Ivan's excellent coaching style and his genuine interest in making sure everyone improves and performs at their best, I have stayed with the program for more than 4 months now.
